IPQ9510 and IPQ9574 are two Qualcomm chips used in different types of networking devices. Here are the main differences:

IPQ9510 is a highly integrated wireless networking solution for Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) routers and gateways. It supports multi-user multi-input Multi-output (MU-MIMO) technology, OFDMA modems, TWT (target wake time), and other advanced Wi-Fi 6E features. The IPQ9574 is a chip designed specifically for 5G fixed wireless access (FWA) devices, providing high-performance, low-latency 5G connectivity with support for multi-band, multi-antenna, advanced network scheduling and security features.

Processing performance: IPQ9510 and IPQ9574 have different processing performance. The IPQ9510 features a quad-core Kryo 680 CPU with a maximum dominant frequency of 2.2GHz and an Adreno 660 GPU that supports up to 16 streams of MU-MIMO, providing wireless speeds of up to 10 Gbps. The IPQ9574 adopts Qualcomm's Atheros CPU, the highest main frequency is 2.4GHz, equipped with Adreno 650 GPU, support 8x8 MU-MIMO, providing up to 7.5Gbps wireless speed.

Applicable products: IPQ9510 is mainly used for Wi-Fi 6E router and gateway products to provide high-speed, high-capacity wireless network connectivity for home and business users. IPQ9574 is mainly used for 5G fixed wireless access (FWA) devices, such as fixed wireless broadband access point (CPE) and 5G wireless gateway, to provide 5G wireless broadband access services.

Network connection: The IPQ9510 and IPQ9574 support different network connection modes. IPQ9510 supports the Wi-Fi 6E standard, which is the extension of 802.11ax in the 6 GHz band, providing greater wireless spectrum resources, suitable for high-density environments and high performance applications. The IPQ9574 supports 5G network connection and provides high-speed and low-delay broadband connections through 5G fixed wireless access (FWA). It is suitable for areas or scenarios where traditional wired networks cannot be deployed.

IPQ9510 and IPQ9574 chips support slightly different frequency bands:

IPQ9510: The IPQ9510 chip supports the Wi-Fi 6E standard, which is an extension of 802.11ax in the 6 GHz band. The Wi-Fi 6E band includes wireless spectrum resources ranging from 6 GHz to 7.125 GHz and is designed to provide higher wireless speeds and lower interference for high-density environments and high-performance applications.

IPQ9574: The IPQ9574 chip does not support the Wi-Fi 6E standard, as it is a 5G fixed Wireless access (FWA) device chip that is primarily used to provide 5G fixed wireless broadband access services, not Wi-Fi network connectivity. As such, it does not involve Wi-Fi bands.

IPQ9510 and IPQ9574 chips are commonly used in the following items:

IPQ9510 chip: The IPQ9510 chip supports the Wi-Fi 6E standard, which provides higher wireless speed and lower interference. It is suitable for high-density environments and high-performance applications. Therefore, the IPQ9510 chip is commonly used in Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) routers, gateways, and other wireless access devices to provide high-speed, stable wireless network connectivity. These devices can be widely used in various environments such as homes, offices, enterprises, and public places to support simultaneous connection of multiple devices, high-speed data transmission, and low latency.

IPQ9574 chip: The IPQ9574 chip is a chip for 5G fixed Wireless access (FWA) devices to provide 5G fixed wireless broadband access services. These devices are commonly used in fixed wireless broadband access points (Cpes), 5G wireless gateways and other products to provide high-speed, low-latency broadband connections over 5G network connections. 5G fixed wireless access has potential applications in scenarios where traditional wired networks cannot be deployed or broadband access needs to be rapidly deployed, such as rural and remote areas, temporary network coverage, new buildings and construction sites, and emergency disaster recovery.
