ICASSP是否可以提交附件(supplementary information)？_4-page icassp

问题

身边有同学要投今年的ICASSP，但对能不能提交supplementary information并不确定。原因是ICASSP官网上说的是：

LENGTH: You are allowed a total of 5 pages for your document. Up to 4 pages may contain technical content, figures, and references, while the 5th page may contain only references. This is the maximum number of pages that will be accepted, including all figures, tables, and references. Any documents that exceed the 5 page limit or have a 5th page containing anything other than references, will be rejected.

貌似是禁止提交supplementary，但其他大多数会议和期刊都是可以提交supplementary的，因此令人难以确定。

于是发了邮件进行询问

发送内容为：

When I submit papers to other conferences/journals, I am usually encouraged to submit a supplementary material to explain details and adding some results. However, In the paper kit of ICASSP 2021, there are the following:

LENGTH: You are allowed a total of 5 pages for your document. Up to 4 pages may contain technical content, figures, and references, while the 5th page may contain only references. This is the maximum number of pages that will be accepted, including all figures, tables, and references. Any documents that exceed the 5 page limit or have a 5th page containing anything other than references, will be rejected.

Does this mean that ICASSP does not allow the submission of supplementary materials, that is, we do not need to prepare supplementary materials?

Your understanding is correct. Submission of supplementary materials is not possible/not an option as it pertains to ICASSP 2021.

结论

至少ICASSP 2021是的确不能提交supplementary的。
