error: an error occurred while performing the step: "building kernel modules

安装NVIDIA显卡驱动是可能遇到的问题：

出现：ERROR : An error occurred while performing the step : ” Building kernel modules “. See /var/log/nvidia-installer.log for details.

问题原因：Linix系统的内核是在不断更新的，而安装的NVIDIA驱动是之前下载好的，没有更新，因此安装过程中无法创建内核。

解决方法：
Google上有人提出下载patch来解决，但是比较麻烦。最高效的方法是下载最新版的显卡驱动（选择对应的版本）。下载地址：http://www.nvidia.cn/Download/index.aspx?lang=cn.
